In April of 2024, the powerhouse in waste management, Covanta, was officially rebranded as “Reworld”. This comes after the 2021 EQT acquisition and passing of the torch with their new CEO. The rename encompasses the company’s standard of revitalization and sustainability in a constantly evolving world. It aptly supports the five “Re’s”:

ReDirect360 (aiming for zero waste to landfills)
ReDrop (supporting wastewater treatment)
ReKlin (providing cutting edge alternatives for fuel to support engineering)
ReMove (for their transportation and logistics)
ReCredit (Sustainable carbon offsets)

Reworld’s award-winning Niagara facility saves over 800,000 tons of waste from landfills every year. To accomplish such an incredible feat, the company requires a trusted system that never fails. That’s where we come in. Reworld has been a customer of Triple/S for nearly two decades. The company first came to us when they were still referred to as Covanta.

This facility requires a machine that can provide constant movement with little downtime. One of the other major factors is that the material being conveyed is abrasive and corrosive. There are many bonus features that Reworld did not require, but are very positive upsides to the conveyor such as minimal dust due to the non pitching nature of the conveyor. Our Slipstick requires no belts which means minimal maintenance and ease with the gliding nature of the movement.
