Slipstick Options
Triple/S Dynamics' total system solution approach includes a variety of options that help ensure your system is providing the optimal conveyor solution for your needs. Slipstick options include:
GATES
A variety of discharge gates can be specified for the Slipstick conveyor. Each is designed to specific product and performance requirements. |
CHUTES
Discharge chutes may be selected from inventory or custom designed to best fit your installation. Chutes can be specified for cross-contamination avoidance, gentle product handling, or abrasion resistance. In addition, these chutes can be booted for a higher level of dust control or to isolate the product stream from the ambient environment.
|
FLOW INHIBITORS
Attached to the side of the conveyor pan, flow inhibitors are designed to build surge capacity in the conveyor pan and then to release product as needed. |
PAN COVERS
Dust-tight pan covers are available for almost every style of Slipstick conveyor.
Covers may be flanged for connection to other equipment, interlocked for access restriction, or may be clamped and / or hinged for ease of sanitation maintenance. Requiring no tools or special equipment for access or removal, Silpstick pan covers are made of your choice of stainless steel, plexiglass or a wide variety of other materials.
|
PRODUCT DAMS
Similar to flow inhibitors, product dams are mounted on a stationary structure rather than the side of the conveyor pan. Dams cause less product breakage than flow inhibitors because they provide less impact against the dam. |

UHMW Polyethylene Conveyor
Contact Surfaces
UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) Polyethylene offers a superior product contact surface for handling food products that can accumulate on conveyor trough surfaces. It offers superior release performance, similar to that of Fluoropolymer materials (e.g. Teflon) plus resist sliding abrasion better than steel.
